Hi friends!

I am back once again, and I'd love to share with you some wonderful music by none other than the lovely Avett Brothers.  Please please take some time to listen.  Their work is amazing.  I've been listening to them literally nonstop.  The album is called I And Love And You.  Here are a few songs...

On Christmas Eve, I got to see my best friend Caroline and my friend Tiffany.  We've been a crazy trio ever since I was about 10.  They have definitely helped to shape me into what I am today, so it was nice to see them.  Caroline was the one who showed me The Avett Brothers and burned me the CD so kudos to her.

Also, I'd like to say that Christmas went pretty smooth this year.  I got a Forever Lazy, which I wanted really bad.  There is a picture of me in it, but quite frankly, I'd rather not share that ;)  I went to Mass and then to my aunt and uncle's house where we played Dirty Santa.  They even had the hot tub all ready to go; funny enough they won it on the popular TV show The Price is Right.  Although because I promised my best friend I would be over after venturing to my aunt and uncle's, I opted to not get in.  Come on though! Who else sits in a hot tub on Christmas day in Ohio?  When I got to my Ashley's house, we exchanged presents.  I got her a JacVanek T-shirt, diabetic socks (for some reason she wanted these really bad?), Toblerone (the best chocolate in the world), and I made her a personalized Calendar.  I got it laminated and everything, and I got her some cute dry erase markers to go with it.  I think she really liked everything.  She got me an Audrey Hepburn T-shirt, which I love and cannot wait to wear, a mini Garden gnome with a book to go with it (I love gnomes), and her mom got me Rubber Ducky pajamas.  It was a good day overall, but all day I kept reminding myself that it wasn't about the gifts, but the love you share.
